Welcome to the ancient Somerset village and civil parish of Shepton Montague. It covers 2,142 acres, bordering Bruton to the north, Pitcombe to the west, Bratton Seymour to the south, Charlton Musgrove to the south east and Brewham to the north east.
At the 2011 census the population was 208, living in 94 dwellings.
The parish encompasses the village of the same name, together with the outlying hamlets of Higher Shepton, Lower Shepton and Stoney Stoke. It lies within the administrative district of South Somerset.
